I have one question regarding this post. What is your definition of personalize learning. In my district we have personalized learning goals for our students. I do believe is a great practice, however hard to manage when you have 60 students and teach 2 subjects. Keeping track of about 30 individual goals for ech one of my 60 students in one subject is overwhelming, to say the least,
even for me, an experienced teacher.
A couple of weeks ago, I was inside the “big black box” also known as the British Columbia Ministry of Education. If you know that I am a teacher from Surrey, B.C. you might jump to the conclusion that I was there picketing, slashing tires or doing the ol’ “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” switcheroo.
